JULY 5: Music at Youth Day Toronto

YD | T.O provides a stage and encourages young people to find a passion in the arts and express their emotions through music.

Over 100 acts each summer from single performers to full bands get to showcase their achievements in music of all genres with cover tunes or original works to an audience of some 30,000 filled with peers, family and friends.

Two outdoor stages operated back to back, enable over 300 young people selected through auditions moderated by industry professionals earlier in the Spring – and have the chance to shine at Yonge-Dundas Square.

New opportunities for those 14 to 29 are created, while successful mentor artists support, celebrate and encourage these efforts as they give back to their fans with headline performances to close the annual festival.
